1. Tell us a bit about yourself and your business.

I am a Calgary-based goldsmith and designer focused on minimalistic, contemporary jewellery designs.  I believe jewellery should be versatile, easy to wear and made to last. A 2014 ACAD graduate, I have spent the last three years working under the mentorship of artist Shona Rae, specifically at The Blackboard Gallery in cSPACE since January 2016.

2. Why is consciously made important to you? And how do you integrate it into your business?

I believe that humans have a responsibility to care for and nurture each other and the planet. I make work that will last for generations, in contrast to something that gets thrown away after a few months and use materials that are ethically and sustainably sourced.

3. What creative fodder is on your radar lately?

I am currently designing a one of a kind pair of earrings for the British Columbia Craft Council Earring Show.  I often take inspiration from my environment and nature.
